Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual reconciliations and month-end close processes primarily in Excel (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
- Prepare and post journal entries, complete account and bank reconciliations, and produce balance sheets.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Utilize QuickBooks extensively for day-to-day accounting tasks.
- Support AP/AR functions as needed (though not a primary focus).
- Collaborate with other departments and assist with ad-hoc projects as the business evolves.
Top Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Accountant.
- Proficiency in Excel (must be highly skilled with VLOOKUPs; some pivot table usage).
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet preparation.
- Familiarity with AP/AR processes for occasional support.
